Meet the Owner

John Welsh

John is our agency owner and before starting Oak and Ox Insurance, he was a captive insurance agent for many years. Before insurance he was in corporate management for nearly 20 years. He holds an MBA from the University of North Alabama and a BS in Business from the University of Alabama. He is licensed in insurance for property and casualty and life and health.  He is married to his wife Tracy, and they have three daughters. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, college football, and spending time with family and friends.
